So what game changer are they going to seek? The Goa’uld specialize in stealing technology and adapting it rather than coming up with it on their own. Sooner or later though they will fail to find a Wraith colony in time and it will grow to an overwhelming size.īut at the same time, the Wraith will realize that the Goa’uld are already so spread out across the Milky Way that eradicating the Goa’uld is probably not realistic without that game changer. The Goa’uld will have their hands full with just trying to stop that exponential growth from taking off, squashing every Wraith threat they find as they find it. And as long as there are human populations to feed on, the Wraith can be exponentially grow their numbers. The Wraith literally grow their ships and there’s essentially no limit to how many planets in the Milky Way they could grow their ships on. The Wraith are like cockroaches where even if you squash one, a hundred more go scurrying under the fridge and quickly start a new colony. It is only a matter of time before the Goa’uld realize what is happening and band together to address the threat.Īt this point, conflict will begin and pretty quickly both the Goa’uld and the Wraith are going to realize that while they can each win individual battles depending on their skill and planning, that neither side can win the war without something game changing.

It won’t be difficult for the wraith to spread out across the galaxy and find worlds where the Goa’uld current are not and start harvesting the life of whoever lives there. The galaxy is huge, and the Stargate network is ridiculously massive. We are assuming the Goa’uld are at the level of power they were at in the beginning of season 1 of SG1, and the Wraith power is roughly where it is in season 1 of Atlantis. They are fighting in the Milky Way, where there are plenty of humans available for the Wraith to feed off of but also plenty of Jaffa for the Goa’uld to use. The feudal nature of both the Wraith and the Goa’ulds is temporarily put aside as both sides unite to fight against their common enemy.
